East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar, monitored the handling of Sunter River's landslide along 15 meters and seven meters of depth, RT 02/04, Cipinang Urban Village, Pulogadung, Friday (2/16).

It is targeted to complete in two months since the location is steep

Anwar admitted that the handling is under central government's authority. He asked Water Resources Sub-agency to conduct temporary handling since the location is main access to residential.

"The personnel installed dolken wood and gabion to avoid continuation landslide," he admitted.

He appealed the local residents to be more careful passing the area since the road condition is already tilting.

Pulogadung Sub-district's Water Resources Implementer Unit Head, Didi Rusdiana, explained his side deployed 10 personnel with one excavator and one crane to handle the landslide.

"It is targeted to complete in two months since the location is steep," he explained.

Meanwhile, Derajat, RT 02/04 Head, appreciated the personnel for conducting temporary handling.

"We hope the handling could be done quickly to avoid another landslide," he hoped.
